Emily Thicke started dancing when she was three years old and has grown up in the studio environment. Dance is more than her passion, it is who she is and she is truly loved by her students. "I hope that in sharing my passion with my students I can inspire each of them to become the best that they can be, in and out of the studio.”
Emily is classically trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop and has been teaching for 9 years. She currently teaches hip hop, contemporary, jazz, leaps& turns, and stretching & conditioning. Emily is also in charge of the ADS competition team and her choreography has won several high scores and judges choice awards over the years.
Emily trained under Ava Kerr in Reno along with many others including Diane Guest-Hoff, Kia Crader, Gina Hernandez, Diana Vaden and Nayte Tavcar. She has studied in LA at The Edge Performing Arts Center, The Milllenium Dance Complex and numerous dance conventions with talented choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Eddie Garcia, Dante, Kenny Wormald, Misha Gabriel and many more.
Natalie was born and raised in Carson City, Nevada where she trained with Pinkerton Dance. She received a M.A degree in dance at UNLV, a M.F.A degree in modern dance, and a M.S.W. degree in social work at the University of Utah. Highlights of her dance career include; Ririe Woodbury Dance Company of Utah, Siegfried and Roy Show in Las Vegas and the Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. She is also one of the artistic directors of the Nutcracker Ballet
I bring sad news that Natalie will not be teaching Modern classes Fall 2016. We are hopeful that she will start classes in the early Spring. So keep your schedule open to include Modern at the beginning of 2017! She will still be Artistic Director and Choreographer for our 2015 Nutcracker Ballet so she wont be a stranger.
